Installed new ATE rotors and Raybestos QS pads
Replaced my front rotors with stock type ATE rotors from BMA and Raybestos QS pad through Advance Autoparts/Parts America. The job went as various posters, the archives and other forums have stated. No real issues.
FYI, I used anti-seize and high temperature anti-squeal materials wherever appropriate. I have not purchased any brake pads for some time so the following may be common to all brake pads.
The QS pads were shipped in a sturdy box with the brake pads shrink-wrapped in plastic included four anti-squeal shims with peel off sticky surface. The shims appeared to be coated with a thin rubber like material. Also included was some universal brake lubricant. Nicely packaged for $57.99 including shipping.
Hope they last a long time WITH LOW DUST!
Just my recent experience.
