    Default Burgandyrot vs. Calypsorot?

    Recently came accross someone who said that he had a burgandy E34 with a paint sticker that said 'Burgandyrot - Metallic'. I know my Calypso car says 'Calypsorot - Mettalic' on the sticker... Are these different colors? Or the same color in different years?

    Ahh, thanks. Any word on what the difference is? They look awfully similar in photos, haven't gotten to see the Burgandy in person.

    rot = red

    my personal favorite bmw color plate was 'bleifrei" or lead free. It was someplace on my 2002.
