    Default isn't it sweet... 518i :)

dunno if you guys have seen a 518i M43 engine (115hp) before. anyway, there's enough space to sit on the gearbox.

Jesus god that thing is tiny!

I bet I could eat it -- GET IN MY BEL-LY!

Does it re-define the idea of an E34 Slow? Hopefully not.

    Nice battery bag!

    Best, whit

it's a 1995 518i Touring. fortunately, the 518i Touring was build with manual transmission only

holey crap...a 4 cyl 1.8L 115hp 3800 or 3900 lb touring? i thought that was just a sedan. i guess i just like drama, i just remembered that i used to own a 3900 lb dodge caravan with a 100hp 4 cyl, which wasn't that horrible.

i've seen a 520i auto sedan try to pick up speed rapidly to get into traffic... didn't happen, and it didn't sound happy trying

i think a 518i would be bordering on dangerous!

Similar underhood to my 318is (M42, 128hp) Do you know the difference between M42 and M43? Is it an older motor design? Why the lower output? M42 is pretty high compression, 10:1 I think... what is M43?

A pic with the old intake...

the M42 is a 16 valve c engine, the M43 has 8 valves and one camshaft. compression 9.7:1
