Wow! Bruno's page makes this job look easy. Makes me want to go out & chek the condition of my mounts.
it was easy & straight forward. i had a garage with tools and a lift to do it in, but i do not remember having to move the abs pump to undo the driver side.
i did use a 3' extension & a socket with integrated swivel.
my mounts were torn & the fan was hitting the shroud under load.

did they appear ok when doing an inspection. mine feel ok, look ok but i wonder?
the rubber mounts on a 6 cylinder are easyer to tell when bad, if it's cracked up and or chunks of rubber are falling out it's crap, the hydraullic mounts are a little harder to tell at a glance, usually the motor just keeps getting lower and lower as the mounts collapse till it's metal to metal

I just did my 530 as well......on drivers side was able to move Brake Fluid Resevoir out of the way....used shallow 6 pt swivel then lots of extensions, could just get to top nut...became religious and it broke free....no problems getting motor mounts out after lifting engine enough..was tight though...
I like that: "became religious and it broke free."
