Between both them not stocking much at a time and people like me I can understand why you are having a hard time finding it, I would take 20 if they had em so I wouldnt have to hunt each time a change comes along.

Default Thanks for the tips Jon and Dan

I was at Autozone in Brooklyn Park just two days ago and they didn't have any. I'll check the fleet farm in Osseo tomorrow when I'm up in that area. Otherwise, I'll go with the 5w40. Not sure what the potential downsides, if any, could be to run oil with 5 instead of a 0....just always made more sense from a brand standpoint to buy 'european formula' not 'SUV formula.' Whatever.

I switched from the 5/30 to the 0/40 this spring but finding it here in southeastern New England has been tough. My car was fine with the 5/30 & I'm sure the 5/40 would work just as well if the 0/40 becomes unavailable unless you normally drive where its -40*F.

I think I gonna switch back from 0w40 to 5w30. I can get ether one at local Autozone with no problems. Oil sensor seems to like the heavier one. After I started putting 0w40 after longer drives, I keep getting oil level message. Even thou the level is fine.
