Default Anyone interested in converting to heated seats?

I have 2 brand new switches that I would like to get rid of. I wanted to put them in the swap meet but I don't see it. Best offer will get them. Here is the link.

yeah you would have to either find a parts car or buy them brand new. I have no idea what they cost though. Let me know. you can email me at mbogosia@comcast.net or just post here.

IIRC, there's a writeup on heating the seats on E38.org or some other popular E38 site that I've seen in the past few months. Parts came from:

    http://www.ipdusa.com/ProductsCat.as...982&RootID=629

    at $90/side.

Converting to the OE seat heater isn't that big of a task, and all OE harnesses (memory/non) should have the capability. You'd need a few new hog rings to reinstall the leather...but those are a few cents a piece.

BY the way -- Mbo, I'm in need of your switches, but don't want to pay more than $30 for them.

Whit, if you give me $30 plus $5 for shipping they are yours. Paypal at mbogosia@comcast.net is fine. If not you can mail me the $ and I will mail the switches. I think I can trust you.

On another note, I had to re-register and my post count went back to zero. I hate trying to sell something on a forum where I have no posts.

mbo -- give me a few days to check out the ones in a parts car at work -- I may just use those instead as I'm taking the seats out of that car for Fritz. Unfortunately, the car was owned by what appears to be an obese African smoker, so the switches might be worthlessly covered in the remnants of Black & Milds and the like (use your imagination).

Recently, all of my free time has been devoted to being Mr. Goodwrench as I slap pop's '93 Regal back together (F#@% I hate that thing), so my own projects have taken the back burner.

Thats fine. Just let me know. The money will be going towards a E.A.T chip though so don't feel like your wasting it. LOL
