Default front armrest coolbox, never seen before

Someone from the german 7er.com board is selling this original cool box from WAECO, which fits for the E34 and E32. Have never seen it before.

Shipment within Europe, so if there is someone from Eurpe who wants it, here is the link

that doesn't even look like it could fit a 355ml can for cooling without distorting the sides. i know my friend's 99 acura 3.2tl has a coolbox somewhere, its either the front cup holder or the glovebox..but we have the original coolbox, don't we? it has a damn FRIDGE LIGHT! and hooks into the air conditioning lines, lets see em beat that!

this is awesome. I would love one of these. Please send one over my way. I have never seen or heard about of of these for the e34 before. The capacity does look pretty limited. But for one person and espeically where it's located, it looks perfect.

I very rarely look on germany ebay for e34 related products. Are things like this popping up all the time?

i like the factory beer cooler in the dual ac equipped 6 series, it has spots for 3 cans, and when working properly the dual ac system turns the whole car into a fridge it's a huge ac system for such a small interior
all america wants is cold beer warm cat and a place to take a poop with a door on it

Well, this cooler box I have seen the first time now. The seller (real name is Thomas, I know him from the German board), sometimes finds some rare stuff and then sells them. Last year he found 3 never used, but >10 years old nice wood armrests/storage boxes in the farest corner of a BMW dealer warehouse, which was closing down. He sold then on the German board and on Ebay for >200 Euro per unit.
Sometimes it is worth to check the German auctions

I wonder if this thing would be powerful enough to cool the interior of the car and save me from having to rebuild my entire A/C system?

    best, whit
