Did you swap out the bottom door gaskets?
Guys...
I stuck Fritz's ///Mtec skirts on today. Despite the lower door trims being a general pain, drilling into the side of the car, and having to straighten out most of the rocker lips, it was an easy procedure.
Lucky for me, the skirts came painted Oxford Green, which is slightly darker than Islandgrun. The two tone looks slick (or sick, depending on who old you are), but the car's overdue for new paint anyway. These suckers make the style 5's pop out, as you may have noticed on Jr's M5 or Dewey's 540i/6. Definitely a tasteful, good looking update to the classic lines.
Writeup to come soon.
Sorry for my sub-par photography.

Yup, the old lower door trims (black) were removed and replaced with the (apparently very expensive from the $tealer) body colored ones. Like I said, getting them on wasn't one of the fun moments during the install.

I had a set of sideskirts, but decided not to put them on, because I would have had to buy the door trims, and they were too much $$.
Fritz is looking better everyday.

Duke....shoot me an email if you need any help. I'm doing a writeup on it; about 50% done, and hopefully Lenny'll pop it up on bmw4life.com.
