the seat twist is an easy fix usually if it isnt the motor. search for seat twist or twisted seat.
Anybody (Hopefully in California) know where I can get a decent Grey driver's side seat. My seat bottom is ripped and the back has that nasty twisting problem (The side towards the passenger doesn't tilt at all).

You write "Born to Kill" on your helmet and you wear a peace button. What's that supposed to be, some kind of sick joke?
Will all E34 (Different years & models) seats fit my car?

Yes. But there can be some issues with memory seats versus non memory ones. Assuming your's doesn't have memory, it should be able to use any e34 seat.
Well things changed quite a bit today. I followed Winfred's E34 Seat Cable Fix and that fixed the problem with the twisted seat. Now my problem is that the driver's seat bottom is torn in an X type fashion, with each tear about six inches. I'll post a picture, but I don't think it can be repaired. The passenger seat bottom is in ok condition. I'm happy with both seat backs. Maybe sheepskin bottoms only if I can find them.
