Default Best place to get used parts

I tried couple of junkyards in my area and vines auto, and had no luck. BMA is too expensive, and I'm afraid to go to the stealership. I need couple of parts to compete my 525 M tech body project. The parts that I need are circled in red. The most important one is the Retainer molding. Right now I'm dead in the water only with painted side skirts.

Are these skirts from a '95 E34 or something different, like an M5 (I thought M5 skirts were the same....?).

I just removed a set from a '95 525i and there is no "retainer molding", I think they might be talking about the small plastic inserts that plug into the rocker panel on the car that the clips (that snap into the plastic skirts) snap into. The ETK shows something similar but they call them "drill guides" or something....

Good luck on those lower door strips too- I think anyone who has the skirts would/should include those strips with the skirts...

Default I use bmr parts for second hand items

http://www.bmrparts.com/. This was raised in a thread a while ago and quite a few of the board member where not impressed by them.

The only complaint I have is e-mail responses can be very slow. I'm under the impression that services levels in the USA (like e-mail responses) are a lot higher than australia.

In Australia, I often email different businesses with regards to products sold for my car. Often it's hard to get any response what-so-ever. BMA are cheap though mate, I found it to be around 1/2 the price of $tealer price$.

    Default m5 sideskirts

I have some m-tech sideskirts too. that I got used on Ebay. I think those parts are gaskets see pic in link above. I am also trying to get all the pieces prior to bring to shop to install. The other part you are looking for is a think drill guide. from my research. I think its like a paper or cardboard guide to show you were to drill the holes? Might not be necessary. I"m sure you can make your own or the installer can figure it out.
