WTF is that first picture of?
Right hand drive automatic - perfect. Stupid me gets the kit and assume I can only use the gearstick selector part, but then finds out the woodgrain pieces are glued on.
What is the best glue to use?
I paid aus$180 though ebay. It's used, in excellent condition, also getting a wood grain auto knob elsewhere.
Does the LHD auto knob work on the RHD gear stick?

don't use glue!!!!! invest in some 3M red double-sided tape. it's what the all of the aftermarket wood kit companies use here in the states. prepare surfaces by cleaning them with rubbing alcohol and then apply tape to back of wood pieces, and finally to interior. BTW, I hope that was in Auzzie dollars.
...just turn it around - you will see the screw hole, but so what. I paid $AUS95 for a new woograin knob from ASV wreckers.
Kriss, that gear selector part is made for a 540i with ASC. The cutout in the top right corner is where the switch is mounted, at least on Aussie cars. You should be able to get a switch to fill the gap from the wreckers.

Dude, the pics are of such lousy quality you could say that it's a chunk of moon rock and I would still have no choice but to believe you.Originally Posted by Rory535i
