The e34 and e32 did have a xenon option in the latter years. But beware as these are early version xenons. Just look at the boxes for them and they are huge compared to the ones nowadays. Also, who knows how good the actual light output and reflection design is. It may be good for the fitment of newer style xenons though.

I'd wager it's a ton better than the common practice of hacking a HID capsule into a halogen fixture.
