Well 1st of all those are old now (1st link) .. u can see them everywhere in dubai ... I think they will be driving the newer ones very soon still not in the roads yet .. but ... if ur not a UAE local ... u cannot join the police dep. also cameras are every where ... max speed limit is 130Km/h thats approx 80m/h I can only speed outside dubai on other areas highways ... also dubai is a very very busy place ... u cannot drive ur car in peak hours ... its better u don't ... last thing to say that cars here are hell cheeper than anywhere else ... I got my E34 535i with all the AC-Schnitzer kit for 4500 USD. but its nice to see a police department appricating BMWs

Here in Bahrain they have rebadged Holden Commodores. Those are some great looking cars.
That bumper package would be ideal for Connecticut traffic. I bet that's the last time the new ones see snow too....

true ... and last time they see that cold too ... they will running in 110F very soon and see hell of sand storms too .. but still ... BMW proven the ability to stand the harshest conditions.
well the answer is simple ... u know that Dubai police makes an auction every year for unique plate numbers ... example ... 1111 or 123 ... one indian ediot bought a number for 500,000 $ ... imagine how much they get. also they got M5s beofre ... but 530 now is powerfull enough. the ones you saw in the 1st link were 540's.
