    as for the headliner: there is no other way than to change it. There is 3 mm (former) foam in between the hard board and the fabrics. That is the actual problem. The foam on my car was just a rust-brown mess. I was before thinking about using a syringe and inject glue thru the material. Some have done it. Others have reglued parts. They all failed.
    How can one glue such a mess nicelly back onto the headliner board?
    That was my old one before replacing it

    I would love to, but as time consuming as it is to actually fix, it will be even more time consuming for me to type a set of instructions...sorry. You can call me if you wish.

    E6000 Industrial glue. It will never come off. Ever.

    that may be true, but the problem is not the insert lifting off the door panel as much as it's the door panel's vinyl shrinking off the panel itself. this shrinkage is what causes the insert to lift. best of luck to all who accept this challenge/repair.

    Did this a while back, wasn't very difficult.
