    Default wiresets-an alternative

Instead of the expensive OEM wires -especially for my V12 engine- which cost a hell of money,
    check these here

Another option would be Magnacore wire, bought off the roll for about ~$1 per foot, as I recall. Use the stock BMW boots.

as long as you don't use resister wire but use solid core wire and use the proper resister ends instead like the bmw wires the car won't care, that's why oem wires cost so much, that and usually they include a new impulse sender

    Very good point.

I've not done this yet on my Bimmer, but on my Porsche the stock Beru boots have threaded copper tips, so I just needed to replace the wire, not the whole assembly. With the threaded Beru tips, it's a piece of cake, and saves a pile of money.

So, can the stock BMW wires be dis-assembled to re-use the old resister ends, boots, etc.?
