    Default ASC Bleeding

    Hello,
I bled my brakes this morning.I used the olde fashioned method(assistant pumping,me bleeding)The brakes are improved.I've just read Bentley who say the ASC brakes must be bled using special equipment.Mine seem fine.

    Interesting.

Pressure bleeder is best but not entirely necessary. Brake feel improved because old brake fluid absorbed too much water and water becomes gas... aka brake fade. So when you bleed out your system... keep doing it until you got clean clear brake fluids coming out.

Default I've used a pressure bleed...

before,I was too lazy to dig it out and I actually like bleeding the hydraulics with an assistant. My only concern is the ASC thingy. The brakes feel great now, tested the olde fashioned way(crash stop from ***mph)

Thanks for your advice and interest.

    We're off to Ireland tomorrow!
