Front bumper cover installation

I'm trying to reinstall my front bumper cover and I'm having a difficult time lining it up correctly. Other than patience, is there a trick to this?

I have done the cover replacement for the front bumper.It was very much easier to have the front facing white inner plastic facing up and offer the cover in a vertical way going down.....hmmmm....did I confuse you enuff?
You need to have the white inner plastic bumper piece removed from the car.That is what I meant.
