Yes, you can install the Alpine Changer in different models
...But NO...the Touring only takes the Pioneer Changer...the Alpine changer (like the one at the link you gave) does not fit the CD changer space in the Touring...it's too wide. You also must be careful as to which Pioneer Changer you get...some of them "look" similar but use different "Bus" technology...for instance, the Changer in my 97 E38 "looks" like the Pioneer changer in my Touring...but they utilize different technology and aren't compatible.Originally Posted by atikovi
The Touring has one set of specific brackets that secures the CD Changer...the insulation is even precut to accept the mounting hardware (see pics below):
