    Default Vibration at 78 - 81 mph

Quick question - 98 528 - smooth ride except when approaching 80mph - fine from there up to 100mph and below. Could it be tire balance? It looks like a weight on the rim may have popped off?
    Thanks.

most likly a square tire, you can try a balance, a road force balance etc.... some/most all your tires are trash. Never run straight...what brand, make, size you have?

I had the same problem. After replacing a steering idler arm to no resolve, I decided to get the wheels re-balanced by a particularly reputable tyre shop and the problem has now gone.
