To everyone with Depo brand eyes... are you guys happy with them? Are they good quality lights/lenses? Oh, and is it possible to remove that funny looking silver cap on the bulbs of the high beams?

I like em. Quality is acceptable, but not up to OEM standards. My recommendation is to put the lens shields on them from bavauto.com. That should help protect them from cracking from rocks, etc.

You could probably remove the metal piece you are talking about because I think you can access the inside of the lamps to replace the eye bulbs.

That's a reflective coating that is integral to the way the bulb operates. If you remove it, the lamp won't burn as brightly, and you'll have no semblance of a beam pattern.

What a PIA! Depo are slackers... can't even put the right plugs on em... talk about bodgy. GP

I had one of their rear lights, the stud bolt broke tightening it lightly, the metal failed. should have cracked the plastic first... not that i was doing it up in any way hard...
