Default Can I get a flip (switchblade) key for my '91 535i?

Can I? Even if it's just the key, is it possible?

    Thanks!

While on the key topic, do any of you know what a new key will cost from the dealer? (Cut and with the buttons and battery)

Default first, you can't order from the online database...

...you can only look up part numbers, prices, and diagrams. They are not yet set up to sell.

Here' is the correct diagram Shogun was pointing you to. You need the "laser cut" key stub (#6) in the diagram: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...41&fg=40&hl=66

Then you will also need the switchblade remote and the screw that holds the key stub to the remote (see #7 and #9 in the diagram link & in the photo below): click here to see the diagram/part numbers for the switchblade remote & screw

In the pic you can see the switchblade remote in the upper right and the laser cut key stub & screw in the lower left. The thing in the lower right is a spare cover turned over so you can see how the key stub is attached and the coil that "springs" it open...and the key in the upper left is to give perspective of the remotes size:

Hope this clarifies it for you.

Have you seen how much the master key is for the 540? See item #18 in the diagram http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...41&fg=40&hl=90
