Honestly you didn't do wrong.
I don't like the E36 chassis much, but E30 and E36 tourings are SO hot.
Not to mentions its a TDS, get some software and a boost controller... woot!
Hallo!
Some of you will no doubt recall that I was beaten to the punch on an absolutely mint E34 TDS last week... well, I finally found something that I could live with:
All done for a llovely £4000, with my old E34 knocking another £400 off the price. A little pricey considering that it's got 140k on the clock, but it drove nicely enough... plus the extra space afforded by a touring will come in seriously handy
Deposit is down, now just need to gather the rest together![]()

check the rear axle mounts and front schocker towers for cracks in the metaal. It´s konw to simply tear for no obvious reason. The rear axle mountings are more delicate on the tourings due to more overhanging weight caused by the reinforcements made to stiffen up the longer roof. Hope you will enjoy the car for a long time. Check the condition of your engine before remapping it though.
