91 525i ALL The TRANS PROGRAM messages. Crazy voltages coming back to the multimeter...dead batteries etc.
narrowed it all down to voltage regulator last time. Alt shop hooked it up under warranty. Worked GREAT for a month now here we are again.
Heres the mystery...........batt volt normal, start car, drops a little. OK we see the alternator isn't working. kick the gas a bit and here comes the alt working at normal voltage. EVERY TIME. belt seems tight enough.
then after a couple minutes....HELLO TRANS PROGRAM.

the spec sticker is gone off mine from the rebuild.
There are 2 or 3 different voltage regulators but i am trying to find out the voltage 4 my 525. maybe they put the wrong one.
