    Never heard of anyhting like this. but i wonder if the coolant would be slowly contaminated by the system, as ours seems to get a little oily over time for no reason.

    If lifetime = 5 years, it might be worth a shot. But, just by nature, I can't see how any glycol based product could retain it's cooling properties indefinitely (but, I'm no chemical engineer...so what do I know?!). I didn't notice whether this stuff lacks phosphates?

    Personally, I'd rather just change my Cool Blue every two years or less.
