Well, my friend,
there must be a market for that too. Otherwise they would not offer it. Schnitzer is the magic word, and quite a lot of people just want to have their car look different from the others.
That is why people install polished rings

or just use the normal one like this

Here the other one again to compare all
Maybe the Schnitzer Style would look better with the chrome rings.
But it all depends on each person's own idea.
On that note... how easy is it to install the chrome rings?
I like the white look
What are they worth? did I read that right $140? are they hard to install?
they're easy to install.. i have them on mine. you can either peel off the front fascia of the gauge cluster and fit them on using silicone glue, or you can take the whole gauge cluster out and get in from behind ( so i have heard.. i used the first method).
looks nice.. not a big difference from stock.. but nice nonetheless

I think the white gauges would look particularly effective in a white E34... (hmmm)
eBay Australia has carbon fibre gauge surrounds for the E34 too, with either schnitzer or //M badging.
I'd love to go the whole-hog... 300km/h white gauges with chrome rings and carbon fibre trim!! But money needs to be spent else where first.![]()
Gone but NEVER forgotten. :'(
And then...
