Hello,

Any one know of a good link that show (with pictures) on how to remove and install a transmission for a 89 530i ?? any help is appreciated, seems like this weekend will be a busy one!

Take lots of pictures and do a write up! Looking at the trans area last week looks pretty straight forward, didnt notice if the exhaust has to be removed or not though. you doing this on a hoist or on your back? Things I would watch for are making sure the engine doesnt tilt into the firewall, the fan doesnt bust the shroud, things like that.
