Passenger Seat Stops 1/2 way back

Since I never sit there, this is not an issue for me, but my 5'10" wife has a small problem with it. Therefore, it does become an issue.

My passenger side seat goes back fine about 1/2 way, but then it stops suddenly. No grinding noise, no motor noise, nothing. Just stops as though it is all the way back. Compared to the driver's seat, it should have about 5 or 6 more inches to go back. Any ideas? I can't see anything impeding the travel of the seat.

Mine does the exact same thing, only it stops short when going forward. I'm suspecting that there's something in the track because I can see the motor "tense up" at the limit of the travel.

I'm going to pull the seats out in a few weeks to leatherique the car anyway, so I haven't spent much time on it as of yet.

might seriously be crap in the track, look closely with a good light, might be some goodies there.
