Is there anyway i could get sunshades on my rear and side windows?
Of course. But probably difficult to find as used parts.
Rear sunshade came as manual and electric version.
Side windows: you also need a new upper part of the door panel.
Check it out on realoem.
Get some of those static cling disney shades that you see on minivans. Eeyore FTW!
NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
lol, i like the ones that cars these days come with.

German ebay is the best bet to find used ones, search for sonnenrollo (s) or just rollo in the carpart section on www.ebay.de
here is a electric rear one...

I bought the door panels from that particular car.
Most sellers on german eBay don't take PayPal, they take bank transfers. It's much easier to send money to people through the banking system in germany. Unless you have an intermediary in Germany who can handle the details...it's hard...
If you're looking for these parts, a better place to find them is ebay.co.uk. The last power shade I saw on there went for around 100 pounds. And they speak english over there. Shipping is another thing....
Yes, very easy. Online bank transfer. I do that always when I buy from Germany, transfer in EURO.Quote:

Bank account to bank account directly, don't let Paypal earn money.
will the e39 electric shades fit an e34?
The hood is open, it's like - "Uncle Robert, Nooo!!!" "Stop touching my insides!"Quote:

I buy stuff from German ebay all the time, pay from my home computer, just bought E38 M-Para wheels for $900 with freight (just to Sweden which is 1000miles north). So it's really easy like shogun says, buy from a ebay-shop and say that your from US, they most like can English to more and more Germans learn.
I think it's much easier to find sunshades in Germany then in the UK, it was a rare option sunshades in UK of the about 30 540i/6 that was exported to UK that I know about, only one has a rear sunshade, non have side shades, probably like that for other E34: s.
Yes the rear head rests are factory, in fact from January 1995 the were factory standard on all Euro E34: s, even 518i and 525td, until August 1994 you could even have motors on them:D look for a retrofit-kit on German ebay while your checking for sunshades, kopfstützen is the German name for head rests, here is a kit... http://cgi.ebay.de/Nachruestsatz-Fon...QQcmdZViewItem
