Still haven't heard squat from Nat about the part I paid for on Jan 11. It seems a number of people aren't getting any satisfaction from Nat.
The thread on bimmerforums is still alive with folks disappointed in his 'performance'. Again, I hate to diss a fellow board member, but there is no excuse beyond death or grave illness to ignore multiple cordial attempts at correspondence.
So does anyone know him well enough to find out what he’s doing with all these parts?

Just pointing out that you quoted bimmerboard but the link is to bimmerforums.com. Normally, I wouldn't be so nitpicky, but since there is a bimmerboard also....
Yeah, paying for parts and not getting them is frustrating. Have you tried catching him on AIM?
Thanks Dan, made the change and will try him on AIM. I'm not optimistic though, as phone calls, pm's and e-mails have all gone unanswered.
For example, this is a copy of the e-mail I just sent him (I've sent a few). We'll see if this gets a response.

If you're getting these e-mails and pm's, please just tell me what the F'ck is going on. I'm aware that you're in school and I've heard rumors you were sick. I don't give a $hit if you haven't sent it, I just want to know you're alive and intend to get me my DME.
Why you would give me your phone #, tell me you were going to send it more than an month ago and then drop off the face of 'bimmer earth', I have no idea, BUT........I'm not about to lose another pile of money on a deadbeat internet dealer, so please don't be that guy. From what I can tell, you are a valuable, reputable member of more than one board, but I WILL get my money back through Paypal arbitration if I have to.

I talked to him by phone last week. All that I got that was going on was school. And he didn't respond to my emails after that. They were about his upcoming birthday, so they weren't negative dunning emails he would want to ignore. That also tells me some not good is going on with him.
I sent him a text message letting him know this thread was going on.
Even from his death bed he could tell his priest to have his familiy either send out the parts or send back the money.... he could scribble it in hospital puddinng on his Johnny even...

As with a lot of things that involve one party being very late, I would try to send a message that says: "If you stop ignoring me about this and want to talk, I won't beat you up about being late".
I know a lot of times people would rather avoid paying something back they very easily can do than face the shame of having to say "Yeah, I was ignoring you for months, here's your ****". Like lots of people that borrow movies or CDs and never give them back because they will have to face you and apologize for bieng a lazy slob.
Your wording in your first email sounds like that, might help if you spell it out. Good luck.

I started that thread on the "other BMW forum". Still no response. I've started this thread in off-topic over there, we'll see if that gets any results.
I've also filed a Paypal dispute claim, not sure what the outcome will be there but I can't lose any more at this point.

You guys were right. The paypal resolution center urged me to wait as the transaction was international and the shipment could be at the border. Hmm, I can't believe I've just thought of this now, mabye it will help, who knows.
When I did my parts dealings with Nat, I remember that he was parting the car out with ArtemLepilov locally.
Now, the last thing I want to do is for everyone to take out their anger on Artem, but mabye you could send a few messages to him and find out whats up, as I think Artem knew him locally.
