I have the stock casette player, and there seems to be a burnt out light behind the display. It isn't half as legible as the trip computer display right next to it. Is replacing this light a big deal?

You can DIY if you know how to solder. Do a search on something like radio LCD or something like that. Actually I found it myself. Check out: http://www.bishopemail.com/BMW/radio_backlight.htm. That gives you a walkthrough. If you can't solder and can come up with a good LCD you can just switch them out.Quote:
