Another one bites the dust...

Hood is sprung indicating a twist in something.

Look closely at the fender / door gap. Bigger at the bottom than the top. Not good.

Look closely at the front bumper - see the mangled bumper strut where the bumper's pushed up? Takes some decent impact to do that.

Notice how the front corner is higher there the bumper caved; that's likely lifted the interior frame rail just a bit or at least buckled all the metal around it.

Look at the car - it's sitting on the curb. See the skid mark on the curb? Sure looks like that's where it got hit and the resulting skid mark - not 100% sure about that but pretty sure. Takes a pretty good whack to push it up on to the curb.

The E34 is a tank but I think this one got popped pretty good on the corner. I'd like to see a picture of the hittee Chrysler. I bet it has a much bigger dent.

just saying we had the frame pulled and straightened on an 89 mx-6 gt that had a book value of like 1000 bucks.

LOL... that frame straightening must have cost more than what that car is worth... was that insurance paid?

partially.

got a deal on the out of pocket work and did the body panel replacements myself.

Let me know if you part-it out. Looks like it's had a good life, but pretty tired now. How's the interior?

I think Jester is right on. There is a frame straightening place here that is pretty darn reasonable and you can always find a body guy who does side work. Just go to the auto paint supply stores (they sell to body shops) and they can reco several "side job" guys that will do quality work for less than 1/2 of the shop costs.

So take the grand and get the old gal fixed...
