? how to disable SRS light under the dash?

when replacing OEM air bag steering wheel with a non-air bag steering wheel, I had seen a post that recommends disconnecting a wire from something under the dash.

anyone recall a description of some box and what wire? I was not referring to taking out the SRS light bulb in the instrument panel.

unplug the orange box by the column and that should kill the system with no damage incase you want to reinstall
