:: Aston Martin DB7?
My fav car has always been an Aston Martin Volante (most any). The more aged ones are now affordable. What do you folks think?
1997 Aston Martin DB7 Volante ; A true British gentleman with only 28,000 miles. The supercharged inline 6 cylinder produces over 300 horsepower and is mated to an automatic transmission. The black leather interior has Merlot colored piping that match.

Oooh... Aaaahh... I love it. I would buy one... Actaully we do have an Aston Martin tech on this board...

check into what maintenance will cost you, before anything. very nice car.
think about Testarossa's - they are also affordable now. But the servicing required for those cars is not...that's the deal breaker.

isnt that the same engine used in a jag?
i dont know much about astons but i know that the supercharged 6 is very reliable. But I do like them. Id do it if i had the cash.

Nice cars, but they were dated before they were even launched,being based ast they were on the old Jag XJS. That doesn't stop me wanting one though. The example shown does look nice, although I do prefer the multi spoke alloys to the rather 'flash' items fitted. If you got the money to run such a car , why not ?

Beauty is only skin deep, as Sidney wrote, its an xj6 in georgeous skin. Now a V12, whole different animal, will lay more rubber than a goat and electronics cannot keep it in check,two things to experience before you go,a Vanquish on full noise and a TVR in the hands of an expert, oh, and 0-60 in 2.9 in my Metro!

XJS Chassis(only downfall)...Inline 6 w/ stick is far superior than the auto. Coupe baby...coupe..
V12s are much better but if you want a cheaper DB7 the inline is the way to go. Both great engines.

If there's a DB7 at that price when the e34 goes kaput, then I won't be moving to an e39 :)
