Came across this set and curious if anyone knows if it would it into an E34 engine bay and onto the newer M30.
I know the exhaust would not match up, but it would be a great start to a new exhaust.
Cool - pretty cheap too. I believe the bolt pattern on all the M30's are the same so it will bolt up just fine. May have to port match but that's pretty easy if the head is off the engine.Quote:

most of the time with stock type engines port matching does not help performance but can hurt it because the restricting area prevents reversion.
These look okay, they should/will work on the e34. I may bid on them myself. The seller is about 20mins away from me. You will need a crossover pipe and then a bung welded in for the 02 sensor and then some more pipe to the rear part of the exhaust + your old cat welded onto the new pipes.
Not sure if ill be bidding, bit short on dollars of late.
