Just installed the last of my perceived performance(engine related) enhancements to the 535i. A Eisenmann Sport Tuned muffler said to be giving increase of say 3.5%. Combined with the E.A.T. Chip and the ITG replacement filter, Power is a lot more sudden with just the tone and a big snarl if pushed. Torque is now at it's peak.
At the light the exhaust is rumbling more M like now. But not loud on take off. Actually very quiet. I should know. Having had many (Ansa) a Prima Flow and a real loud exhaust from some Canadian outfit on the 2002 over the twenty two years. The shop gave me an option to run straight pipes from the cat. I went with the OEM center muffler. No doubt, it will get louder as time goes on. Gas mileage seems to have benefited also. :D
I have a few minor body enhancements to recieve (Rieger lip spoiler) and install, smoked signal lenses and smileys and then on to the next round, Suspension upgrades. Bilsteins before the road to Indy in June.
