wondering if someone can setup a link, or even a sticky with information for new owners. Such as posts about common interchangeable parts, links to performance sites, turbo setup questions, exterior styling...something. I've been searching for m-tech bodykit and others for a while on the site and have only come up with a picture of an application...just food for thought maybe :D
jeff

i understand the main page has some information on turbo but as far as ppl doing custom work, or swapping from whatever...no information.

actually I dont think this site was made in an effort to really mod or dismantle the BMW but to help people work on their own cars. I think the majority of people on here dont think highly of riced out Bimmers and ground effect kits...maybe I'm the minority these days...Idonno. I think my car looks sweet just like it is...well maybe some shadowline would be cool.

haha no, i want something more stylish, nothing extreme at all. And as far as exhaust goes, im going with a B&B for a better tone. but thats about all i want, the reiger kit is all i seen and thats not really what i want, the mtech looked nice from what i could see and was trying to find better pictures.
and as far as rims go, im just going to see if i can put on e60 style, i think thats what they were anyways. then a new coat of paint and that about does it. besides chipping it and intake. after all that i want a dinan 7 series or something...

there are a lot of suttle things you can do on these cars without ricing them out.

As for turbos they aren't widely available in a plug n play variety and most folks will watch as others experiment with their engines, I am one of them but would absulutly love an extra hundred horsies on demand...but will wait until its a more proven than experimental deal, and then one for a 530 would even take years longer.

No2 would be a more pracical way of doing it but then again, I dont have a few extra blocks laying around for when the fuel button dont kick as it should and have a meltdown. If I had enough money to play I would simply pick up another E34 and have a friend of mine weld it together and pop the old 632 inch rice slayer in there and call it race day. Normally aspirated 1000hp @ 6300 rpms would give a new meaning to traction control...with 810 lbs of torque at the same. would probably twist the E34 into a barber pole at launch if I could fit the 15x32s under it.

yea well i think im going to stick away from turbo and stick with chipping it, intake and new exhaust system. trying to locate angel eyes too. But after all that and some stylish body enhancement, repaint.
Then ill purchase a 7 series. I seen a pic of one 735i dinan or something for sale...but cant find it...im not rich enough for an m5 :/

how do i find the mtech bodykit? i heard thats the nicest looking

just look at any m5 or 540 sport and you will see the m-tech kit. check out www.bayaream5's.com, there is a nice white one and a couple of good blue ones.
You will only find the kit at the dealer or you can get real lucky and find one on ebay over seas and thats usually not the whole kit but just the front bumper.

yes the side moldings and rear bumper fit. You can get the side moldings off of any 95 e34. The piont I was trying to make was that you do not see ///M body parts for sale that often, and if you do its the front or rear bumper not the whole kit toghether.

The M5 style is sweet... but I really like the standard E34 body with the 540i brake vent duct bumper... It's a very subtle difference from most E34s. I love the way my 540 looks... I'll post some fresh pics next week after my windows get their tint on... check into that mod if you don't already have the 540 bumper.

Although, my mechanic had a 95 German M5 (converted to U.S.) in his shop bay when I was in there on Thursday... and it is a very hot look. <drool>
