I just bought my first BMW, a 1989 525i and I love it so far. The only problem is that it does not have an owners manual, does anybody here know where I can find one? also how do you put pics in these threads?

Try your local scrap yard, you never know! I’ve got two now found a full owners wallet with all original manuals, history and bills the other week and the yard owner just let me have it! Incidentally I saw one to day in Huddersfield, are you in the UK buy chance?

Id be amazed if you can still get them new!

he is in wilmington NC... Look up Bret, aka rigmaster. He is a neighbor of yours and is always dismantling our cars for parts.

just wanted to say thanks for all the help. I had to go by the dealer who sold me the car for some parts, and while talking to one of the salesmen he found me a manual for it.
