View Full Version : E34 M5 seats in a non-M5 E34....

I know the bolt pattern is the same, but will they just plug and play into another E34 or will you have to do some modifications to the plug to get it to fit?

Unless you are mixing memory/non-memory vehicles. Memory seats won't work without memory module. Outside of memory features, the wiring harness is all available (lumbar/front thigh/heating).....even in stripped down models.

Ah cool, i don't have memory so it should just be a plug and play thing for them then?

Maybe, i had to rewire my 520 to work with my m5 seats; harnesses were different on drivers side, and my car didnt have the fuse assembly for them i either which i had to make, i have a huge post dedicated to it you should search for it

ya i saw yours, but u have some kinda cloth seats? they look totally different from what jason has in his....

In the US we all get luxury leather seats (rare exceptions) and the main harness as well as the harness for the switches should all fit each other


Ah cool, i don't have memory so it should just be a plug and play thing for them then?
