Looking for a car jack

...I don't have one besides the one that came with the car. Is this e-bay one good for my car. This ones rated to 2.25 tonne.

Measure the clearance under the car, do not know if you have lowered it. Otherwise you might use some wood pieces before to drive on with one side of the wheels on the wood so that you have enough space/clearance.

I have one of those down at the shop and you can't get int under an e34 at stock clearance with that big foot peddle. It isnt a big deal because you can pop the pedal off, but then you won't be able to use the pedal.
