Incantation.. clarion deck ??

Did you have any trouble installing the clarion deck? i was thinking about getting the 845mc but crutchfield tech support said it wouldnt fit.. its too deep for the slot in the 535.

I have it installed in my 1990 525I and it fits good. It was a little tight, just make sure you wrap all the wires tight with a zip tie. It looks really good because it matches the interior perfectly.

My DXZ835MP was supposedly "too long" too - but it fit without a problem. The back support had to be removed, though. That's probably the point Crutchfield measures to. The back support tab comes out easily.

thanks guys. i took a look at it and it looks like it will fit. ordered up the 845mc. should be a BIG improved over my 4 yr old sony w/nonworking cdplayer..
