when does it have power?
i'm still trying to hook up my lighted shift knob...

and i was thinking of tapping into here...
what does that white plugged wire do? i disconnected it
and my windows worked, hazards blinked etc etc


help anyone :D ?

It should be the plug for your reverse back up light. If you want to hook up your lighted gearknob, plug it into the ashtray lighting.It'll take you 20 min max.

and Blue/Yellow wires. Back-Up light switch. Green/Black wire comes straight from F12, Blue/Yellow wire goes to Back-Up bulbs (Lamps) and Memory seat mirror module if supplied.

Yes you can tap you Green/Black wire to supply power to the lighted shift knob.

I read that people use the hazard switch wiring as well. Accessed by popping up the window switch. In a file I have on it (for future mods) it states on an '89 the bulb wire is grey/red...gound is brown -probably be the same on other model years.

i just tapped into that one as it was on when i had the key on and off when i took the
key out =] ...

taken from car body though, if taken from the Blue/Yellow wire, knob will turn of in reverse.
