I sold my 4.27 lsd but the buyer might be willing to sell it back. Send me an e-mail and I will pursue it. (BTW, it was a real hoot for the few short weeks I drove it with the 5-spd!)

I wonder if its possible to put a 6speed from a newer M3 on an E34 so that way you would have 5 gears with the 4.27. I would think it would match up, the newer M3 blocks are based off of the M50 right? It would be an expensive upgrade but it would be awesome, and might not kill gas mileage too bad.

i like the 4.27 i put in my 535ia, i found it in a 91 735il and it had the same input flange, i have one more 4.27ls but the clutches seem worn as it wasn't nearly as hard as it should of been to spin the wheels in oposite directions when it was on the car

my 90 535ia jsut feels dead compared to my 535i and my friends 92 735
so i'm hoping this 4.27 will wake it up

i know that bmw used to used the 4.27, then cahnged over, i wonder why
