Hello Members,

I've been considering donating any sales I get from the members here over a one week period to Alan Stewart's memorial fund. I'll send 100% of the proceeds of each chip to the fund. That means if you buy a chip for $199, it ALL goes to the fund (except for the paypal fees)

Let me know if you are interested, and I think Ed can put a page on his site that you can order from. (which I have discussed making for him, as soon you will be able to order from Ed's site and Ed will get a portion of each sale to support bimmer.info)

It would be great if we got even 5 sales, as that would be a substantial contribution.

(text below added on Jan 31st: )
Here is the URL for the ordering page:

http://www3.sympatico.ca/mdsylva/sale/ASBimInfo.htm

Please send me an email if you order telling me what you ordered, as the PayPal payment will be sent to sharon@topwebsite.com (Ed's Paypal). I figured I'd let him send in the money as he'll be sending in some from the T-Shirst sales. (But I have not heard from Ed today so I hope he doesn't mind)

Thanks

Mark

I just got here, and I didn't know the gentleman... however if I decide on getting a chip, I'd be more than happy to participate.

I sent you a PM inquiring about your chips.

Just want to say...a classy thing to do Mark. Also I was remiss in mentioning in Ed's other post about providing T-shirts, if it were not for you Ed, many of us likely would have never had our lives touched by Allan.
Thanks to you both.

Brad,
I was going to send you an email this week. You can either send the stock chip to me in Canada, or to my friend in Columbus Ohio, who is now shipping all USA orders. (which ever is best for you). I'll send you an email, or now that you know what the option are, you can email me annd tell me what you prefer.

Thanks

Yes he is programming the chips there and mailing them out.

He can read chips also, but I think it's better if you mail them. He's not set up for you to drop over. (I'll ask, but I don't think he wants to do that)

He is in Worthington, Ohio 43085

stopping in would be much easier.... that way I wouldn't have to go without my daily driver for a day or two

let me know what the word is though... because a return usps trip to columbus and back wouldn't take all that long.

I am in Columbus as well. I didn't know there were so many E34 enthusiasts in the area. I guess this town has a little bit of class after all. :p

Your welcome. I had the idea last week but didn't have time to edit up a page to take orders. I just finished it, and emailed it to Ed. Hopefully he can put it on his server today.

Hi Ed,
when I didn't hear from you as of midnight, I edited my original post and added a link to it on my site. (without that small addition that I mentioned)

I'll remove from my site if you decide to put it up with any changes. I just wanted it to be up for Feb 1st , but I think it needs it's own thread as it's hidden in my original message and may not be seen easily)
