Wiper Linkage - Any quick fix for this?

Was happily driving along last night, when all of a sudden my wipers decided to lock up. Got it home and parked up for the night.

Had a look at it this morning, and it looks like the part of the linkage that goes to the motor has failed. Only problem is, I'm starting a new job on Monday, and the forecast is... you guessed it... rain.

Is there any quick-fix for this?

You need to put a wiper rack in your car. The whole assembly is availabel from BMW. They seize up and break.
