Nikasil hits 170k miles!

When I got to work today I noticed that I had hit 170005 miles on the 1995 530i. I can't believe how well put together this car feels after all these miles. My old Volvos were rattling and creaking all the time after 150K.

I'll probably be hitting 140K in a few weeks (also nik enhanced :)). While this is not quite the milestone of 170K, I must agree..I'm continually impressed at how well the car is aging :)

I should hit 170k around 2012 if it doesn't first get eating alive from our wonderful Pittsburgh roads. I nailed a pothole today that I swear wasn't there yesterday. Unfortunately I don't have a Nikasil. Maybe in two years.
