Without getting into the pros & cons of 17" versus 18" wheels I have found a supplier who sells a range of BMW replica wheels including M-Parallels (http://www.mswt.com.au/products_closeup.asp?part=BMW&part_no=51).

Motorsport Wheels & Tyres in Doveton (near Dandenong) Victoria.

These are my... "I wonder what they'll look like on my car?" pics. :p

I checked the website - looks like M Parrallel is 18" only. To big for use on our Michigan roads.

As far as I'm aware M-Parallels were only ever available in 18". Though I'm sure someone mentioned on this forum that a 17" version was available for the Canadian market?

I wondered about that as the standard E34 offset is 20mm. I wonder what offset the late E34 M5's were that came fitted with M-Parallels as standard?
Does anyone know what offset the E39's are? I'm thinking they may be suitable for E39's and not E34's.

mp's are one of the nicest wheels imho.

i run 13mm offset all around on my 18x8.5's. those fronts with 14mm offset should be fine.

M-Parallel replicas can be purchased in the USA from this site:
http://www.lakeshorewheelandtire.com/index.html

They have other nice replicas in 17" and 18" sizes.
