Hi guys,

Today I saw a "wonder "chip performing miracles at the Turner Motorsport site. They claim over 40 bhp gain with only relacing your chip programmed by the "Confoty "guy. Seems a bit steep to me, maybe they made a little typo on the site. Any of you had experiences with these guys ?

You're seeing at the turner site is somewhat misleading , thats the peak gain , not the total gain... the total gain goes from 208 to 222 hp, the peak gain is only at one rpm 6250 , meaning that with the stock chip the hp has already started falling off at that rpm and with the jc chip it keeps it up at that rpm showing a peak gain of 40 , a meaningless number.

Mark D'sylva, OEO (only executive officer) of EAT... He makes chips for M30's that are commonly thought of as the best E34 off-the-shelf chip available, and much cheaper than the $350 or so the other guys charge. I think Mark's at $199 or so for the M30, and you can choose your rev limit (standard or increased)

Thanks for the info. It seemed a bit over the top to me too. Performance gains with chips usually never exceed the 10 percent mark. Do you now if our local hero is able to map a chip or a M 30 with sports header, Schrick 288 cam and cat-less exhaust. It's not for the engine in my E34 but for the engine in my E30 M3.

Hi Jose,

I suppose you mean M3 with s14 motor? You said "m30 ... in E30 M3" ??

Go to the CONTACT page of my site to see how to call me over the internet. I'll be busy until around 7:00 pm EST, but you could try to call me between 7 and 8 pm EST.

(or send me an email)

Thanks

Mark
