Nothing new to the regulars here, but valuable for the newbies.
If you want to know details about your car, just type in the last 7 digits/letters of your chassis number and a lot of information will come out, such as type of engine, type of gear and actual month and year of production.
This is sometimes very important when asking to solve problems and/or looking for correct part numbers.
Just one example, the microfilter has been installed only from a certain month in 1990.
Some people believe first date of registration is same/equal to month/year of production. That is not the case.
For example my car was produced in 11/1988 and first registration was 12/1989.
If possible, indicate your VIN number in your signature, but at least the exact model, type and month/year of production.
