From my experience, they are along the same line as other wheels. I knew a guy who bent some borbets but he also bent a set of bbs wheels. It seems it is more important what the composition of the wheel is rather than the brand. It seems to me different wheel designs and material used make some wheels stronger than others. I am not an expert but that is just how it seems to me.

I had some for 6 years w/ no issues at all, until I bent the right front one. But then, I did hit the side of a rounded curb at a freeway entrance at 45 too... curb won....

I have Borbet Type E, granted theyre 15's right now, but my friend runs 16's with 40 profile stretched tires (so more like 30 - 35 profile in height) and he's hit a pothole, and the sidewall tore before the wheel bent. They are decently-well made wheels from germany, they're not too heavy either, i like them. Now to import the E's in 17x10 from deutschland!
