Hi all,

Tried fixing oat sensor today. It had been intermitent. Removed the sensor and found one wire bent and insullation worn. Stripped wire back and resoldered it, refiited sensor. Now it is reading -37 again. I have heard it can take a while for the temp to come back up, what gives?

-37 is usually a sign of an open circut. Chances are there is a broken wire or a bad sensor problem.

Wait a while. It takes quite a time to go down step by step.

If not, then see post before.

Ah, fixed it. Wire was broken behind fog lamp, soldered it back, taped it up and heh presto the temps creeping up. Thanks shogun for your input and great web site by the way.
